Inspiration- Song Eminem-Almost Famous (Dirty)

This song also inspired me as i could use the mentality eminem has to 'copypaste' onto my character. Eminem is quite humble in his songs rapping about reality and how he is normal and has problems, this could reflect in my character seen as his life before fame is full of troubles and problems. Eminem can also come across as cocky in his music but only to taunt fellow 'haters' this is another characteristic my main character will inherit.

• Organise blog posts so they follow a chronological order.

• You MUST complete at least 2 more analyses of soap trailers. Your analysis should focus on the use/subversion of conventions (see analysis sheet), as well as portrayal of narrative & character; use of dialogue and soundtrack.

• You MUST also complete full analysis of at least 2 soap posters and 2 TV listings magazines, using the help points on our main blog to guide you.

• You also need to have a target audience profile completed. You also need a summarising paragraph that outlines what you have found out from your questionnaire and how you will use this information in the construction of your soap trailer.

• You need a detailed soap overview (with title!) that names some of the key characters & narratives and discusses what they are like (personality, situation, lifestyle, costume etc) and why you have chose to have this type of character in your soap.

• You must also have a trailer synopsis that offers a full account of what we are going to see in the trailer and how we are going to see it, commenting on style, pace, music, anything distinctive etc, as well as justifying the storylines that you will be highlighting; how are these reflective of your soap overall? In your outline of your trailer, answer the following: What do you want the content & style to be like? How do you want to represent your soap in the trailer? What kind of effect on the audience do you hope to achieve?

• Your locations posts need re-organising so they are all together in one post.

• Must have a draft of your magazine front cover uploaded, and explain both poster & magazine in depth. Use terms and justify reasons why you are creating it in this way, and highlighting what conventions you are following- go through each element of your poster and front cover Link to the brand identity that you are trying to create.

• For your soap trailer poster, you must have certain information on there (date of release, channel, time) and you MUST use original images. It is not acceptable for you to use found images at all- regardless of how great they look in a text mask!

• MUST have a completed storyboard animatic & script. Without these you can’t even get an E!

• Upload a rough cut of your film; add audience responses, then how you will address areas to improve.

• Also, you must add in an ongoing production & post-production diary that shows that you are reflecting on each stage of your construction.

• Finish off all of the empty posts, so that they actually contain some detail, rather than being an empty title.
