NEW COMMENT!

• Organise blog posts so they follow a chronological order.

• You need at least 2 more analyses of soap trailers, with embedded links. Your analysis should focus on the use/subversion of conventions (see analysis sheet), as well as portrayal of narrative & character; use of dialogue and soundtrack.

• You must also have at least 2 soap poster analyses and 2 TV listings magazine analyses, again with embedded links for images.

• You also need to have a target audience profile completed. You also need a summarising paragraph that outlines what you have found out from your questionnaire and how you will use this information in the construction of your soap trailer.

• You need a detailed soap overview (with title!) that names some of the key characters & narratives and discusses what they are like (personality, situation, lifestyle, costume etc) and why you have chose to have this type of character in your soap. Also have detail on specific, regular locations that you will have in your soap, why and which of these you are showing in your trailer.

• It would be useful to have specific character inspiration for your main characters, with images and an outline of what inspired you. It is not acceptable for you to simply add an image; you must back up all your inspirations with a clear paragraph that outlines what particularly inspired you and how you will use this in the construction of your soap.

• You must also have a trailer synopsis that offers a full account of what we are going to see and how we are going to see it, commenting on style, pace, music, anything distinctive etc, as well as justifying the storylines that you will be highlighting; how are these reflective of your soap overall? In your outline of your trailer, answer the following: What do you want the content & style to be like? How do you want to represent your soap in the trailer? What kind of effect on the audience do you hope to achieve?

• Need to have images of costumes & props all with reasons for your choices. You also need to add reasons for your locations. Your locations posts need re-organising so they are not all over the place.

• Must have a draft of your magazine front cover & poster uploaded, and explain both poster & magazine in depth. Use terms and justify reasons why you are creating it in this way, and highlighting what conventions you are following- go through each element of your poster and front cover Link to the brand identity that you are trying to create.

• Must have a completed storyboard animatic & script.

• Add dates to your filming plan too.
